EMOTIONAL SELF-AWARENESS



You need to develop emotional awareness to know why you are feeling bad or experiencing any other emotion even if you can’t change it completely.
Your mood swings. This didn’t happen out of nothing as it may have seemed but you may not have notice the trigger that resulted in the mood swing because you hadn’t developed proper emotional awareness.
People, who always violate their own values, by doing a bad habit over and over for example, usually live with a level of guilt that they get used to. Others live with fears throughout their lives without realizing that their normal state is fear and anxiety!!
Some people live with certain levels of stress to the extent that they start to believe that this is how life should be and that it’s normal.
The more you are mindful of your emotions, thoughts and inner dialogue the more you will become aware of them and the more you will understand your own mood swings.
Lots of people use quick fixes to regulate their mood (For example working harder, being more controlling, alcohol) they are not able to tackle the real problems.
Know yourself; understand your emotions and you will become happier than you would have been even though it is not perfect.
